Time-Lapse Video Demonstrates Total Lifecycle Support

As part of United Grinding North America’s philosophy of total lifecycle solutions that go beyond after-sales spare parts and service to include machine upgrades and rebuilds, the company is presenting a time-lapse video of a complete grinding machine tear-down and rebuild in its North Hall booth. Similarly, the company is demonstrating its digital solutions, such as Remote Service, IT Security, and the Production and Service Monitor solutions with a three-screen monitoring setup which the company says shows how a manufacturer can put its entire production floor at its employees’ fingertips.

You can also get up close and personal viewing demonstrations on new machines from the company’s various cylindrical, surface and profile, and tool and cutter grinding divisions. (Brands include Magerle, Blohm, Studer, Mikrosa, Walter and Ewag.) In fact, IMTS is the location for the North American debut of the Magerle MPF 51 grinding and machining center. Available as a five- or six-axis machine, it performs grinding, milling and drilling in a single part clamping to minimize setups and work in process. It also offers spindle speeds as high as 10,000 rpm.
