Waldmann Lighting Showcases Expanded Product Offerings

The company, which had previously focused on waterproof machine lighting, is featuring lighting solutions for outside machines, including workbench and task lights.

Waldmann Lighting is taking its expertise from inside the machine tool to outside, on the shop floor. The company has expanded its industrial lighting solutions, including magnifiers, high-bay fixtures, and task and workbench lighting, all of which complements its waterproof machine lights.

According to Les Kaminski, vice president of operations and product management, the company’s goal is to provide high-quality, reliable industrial lighting for entire facilities. “We can offer a complete solution,” he says.

At the show, the company is featuring a range of new products for lighting both inside and outside machines. The Raptor LED spotlight illuminates harsh machine environments and is designed to reduce light bulb maintenance and downtime, while the Mach LED Plus.forty machine light is now available with pulse-width modulation (PWM) to encode messages into flashing and flicker-free light dimming. The company has also developed a new addition to its Acaneo LED high-bay luminaire series, the Acaneo Extreme, which is designed to withstand temperatures as high as 158°F. Products for lighting outside machines include the adjustable, arm-mounted ALD task light, the Vypor LED light for illuminating large areas, and the WLA overhead workbench light.

In addition to its new products, Waldmann has a new booth layout. According to Kaminski, it uses “vignettes” to display the products and show different applications for them in their intended environments. In addition, the waterproof machine lights are mounted on a wall so visitors can interact with them. Overall, he says, the company is showing some 20 different products from five product lines. “The booth has an open plan,” he adds. “We want it to be inviting.”
