API Plugin Enables Real-Time Control
IMTS 2022: Kawasaki's KRNX focuses in on enabling users to complete complex AI applications with its real time control capabilities.
Since Kawasaki Robotics’ inception, the company says its central goal has been exacting quality for every product built — from motorcycles to airplanes — in order to build a reputation rooted in precision and reliability. In 1969, Kawasaki began manufacturing robot arms and it continues developing and advancing this technology to this day. This includes robot arms with a unique internal dress design said to make installation and maintenance easy and minimize wear and tear over time.
KRNX is cited as a useful tool by startups and users for those interested in machine learning or AI. KRNX enables users to make imagination to reality using robotics. With proper usage, it enables users to execute even the most complex machine learning tasks.
One of KRNX’s most notable features is real time control (RTC). With RTC, joint angles on the robot update every 2 milliseconds to execute complex applications. Kawasaki's advanced software library gives KRNX access to an application processing interface (API) to use externally generated motion planning to control robots and their movements. This promotes the ability for robots to learn and react in real time, changing their path based on AI.
With KRNX’s development, its real-world applications are open and varied.
