Marubeni Citizen-Cincom’s D25 Swiss-type lathe features double gang tool posts and a B axis. The double gang layout is said to shorten cycle times for high productivity.
The machine can be equipped with up to 59 tools for the main spindle and subspindle to enable efficient production of complex workpieces. It also features independent, adjustable-angle rotary tools for the subspindle (three for the Y axis and three for the Z axis); a B axis for front-back machining; switchable operation for use with or without a guide bushing; a CNC with touch screen; and a variety of interface choices.
At the show, the company will also display additional machines, automation, bar feeders, laser welding and more.
