About Chevalier Machinery
Established more than 30 years ago, Chevalier Machinery USA is a leading manufacturer of grinding, turning and milling machining centers. Our machines are assembled in our own 9001-certified facilities that include departments for R&D, cast part processing, sheet metal production and electronics. We provide superior solutions to our clients in a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, construction, defense, wind turbine, gas and oil products, medical, printing and semiconductor. And with our extensive network of well-qualified dealers, Chevalier offers on-time delivery, fast service and competitive pricing.
Chevalier Machinery is the United States branch company of Falcon Machine Tools, a Taiwanese-based machine tool manufacturer with branches and agents in Europe, the Middle East, Mainland China, South America and the U.S. Established in 1978, Falcon is a publicly traded company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. Chevalier’s impressive showroom, main parts, warehousing, distribution and training/tech-support center is in the Los Angeles suburb of Santa Fe Springs.
Chevalier's Research and Development
Our state-of-the-art R&D division includes design, prototype development, applications, electrical and electronics. The CAD division uses 3-D/Pro-E software that enables design engineers to achieve finite element analysis and dynamic simulation through all phases of the design process.
Quality Control
Chevalier follows the most-stringent quality control process, from casting to final assembly. We have been a quality control leader since our inception, garnering almost every QC award in the world. All of our machines after assembly are measured and calibrated by state-of-the-art laser calibration equipment. This ensures precise verification and compensation of our machines, resulting in increased accuracy and repeatability. Machines are given a ball-bar test, a series of circular moves. The encoder data from the bar is fed into a computer that outputs a chart for machine accuracy. Engineers, who oversee inspection stations, design our machines to ensure that all aspects of the manufacturing process meet the designer’s specific requirements.
Sales, Sevice and Parts
Customer satisfaction is always the highest priority at Chevalier. Our knowledgeable service engineers, technicians and sales representatives travel around the world to provide assistance to our dealers and end-users. Our after-sales service fleet is available to our service engineers and technicians. Chevalier’s expert network of dealers in more than 80 countries is thoroughly trained to adhere to Chevalier’s superior customer service standards. Our modern warehouse facility in the Los Angeles area maintains a comprehensive inventory of parts for all machines sold in the United States.
