Mazak Corporation is a leader in the design, manufacture and support of advanced machine tool equipment, including Multi-Tasking, 5-axis, milling, turning and automation solutions, for all metal working industry segments.
Based in Florence, Kentucky, Mazak has been manufacturing its highly productive machine tools in the United States since 1974. And over the past four decades, the company has continuously grown and advanced its manufacturing operations to support the ever-changing demands of its customers.
Today, the iSMART Factory produces up to 200 machine tool units per month, depending on product mix. It applies a Production-On-Demand manufacturing approach so that Mazak can achieve the shortest possible lead times, maintain high-quality standards, improve efficiency and ensure that each new machine coming off the line includes the absolute latest technology.
Furthermore, because Mazak is committed to serving as a strategic partner to its customers, the company offers a total support program, known as Optimum Plus, and maintains eight Technology Centers across North America to provide local hands-on applications, service and sales support.
